River levels are expected to continue to rise in response to recent rainfall. Areas most at risk are Potash Corner, Clopton, Woodbridge Road, Grundisburgh and Bealings Road, Martlesham. The forecast is for further rain during this morning, Sunday 18 February, with the potential for some heavy showers. The rain is expected to clear off the East coast by early afternoon. The forecast is for some light showers on Monday 19 February and Tuesday 20 February. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation. River levels are beginning to drop, but remain high in places as the river responds to recent rainfall. Areas most at risk are Potash Corner, Clopton, Woodbridge Road, Grundisburgh and Bealings Road, Martlesham. The forecast is for predominantly dry weather with some isolated showers for the next few days. Take care on riverside footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.
