River levels have peaked but are expected to remain high overnight. The watercourse will remain responsive to any further rainfall. Areas most at risk are Lower Street, Rattlesden, the Ford at Wash Lane, Onehouse and around Ford Bridge, Combs Ford. The forecast is for a generally improving weather picture, but with the chance of the odd shower pushing through the catchment. The forecast is for some light showers on Monday 19 February and Tuesday 20 February. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation. The rain is expected to clear off the East coast by early afternoon, with only the odd light shower pushing through the catchment. River levels are currently high as the river responds to ongoing rainfall.
