Property flooding is expected. River levels are high but falling on the Hoe Stream. Therefore, flooding of low lying land, property and roads is expected today, 6 January 2024, especially in the Mayfield area of Woking. River levels may reach levels similar to those of August 2006. The forecast for today, 6 January 2024, is for mostly dry conditions with the chance of some light showers, with a dry forecast for the next few days.
Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground, or to safety. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Avoid contact with flood water.

Property flooding is expected. River levels are rising on the Hoe Stream as as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected this morning 05/01/24, especially in the Mayfield area of Woking. River levels may reach levels similar to those of August 2006. The forecast for the next 48 hours is dryer with some scattered showers. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. River levels are high on the Hoe Stream at Woking as a result of Storm Dennis. Therefore, flooding of low lying properties, roads and farmland is possible overnight, especially in the Mayford area. Peak levels will be similar to the flooding in December 2019. Light showers are forecast this evening 17/02/2020 and into tomorrow 18/02/2020, and we expect river levels to remain high.
