The River level peaked at Cobham Mill at 7:30am this morning and has continued to fall since, but river levels remain high, therefore the Flood Warning for River Mole at Stoke D'Abernon, Cobham and South Hersham remains in force. The peak level recorded at Cobham Mill was higher than the peak level recorded in December 2019. Further rainfall is expected in the next few days but it is not expected to cause any property flooding. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking our defences and structures and clearing trash screens. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.

River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall yesterday and will remain high for the next 24 hours. The river level peaked at Cobham Mill at 7:30 am this morning and it is now falling, however we believe there is still a possibility of flooding for properties on and around Downside Road, Downside Bridge Road and the area surrounding St Andrews Church. Peak level recorded was higher than the flooding in December 2019. Minimal further rainfall is forecast today, however we expect river levels to remain high into tomorrow, 18/02/2020. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking our defences and structures. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties on and around Downside Road, Downside Bridge Road and the area surrounding St Andrews Church. Peak levels will be higher than the flooding in December 2019. Minimal further rainfall is forecast today, however we expect river levels to remain high into tomorrow, 18/02/2020. River levels have peaked at Leatherhead following further heavy rainfall on Saturday evening. However, the risk of flooding remains. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties on and around Downside Bridge Road and the A245. No further significant rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to begin to fall throughout Monday 23/12/2019. Peak river levels in Cobham are not expected to reach the level seen over the past two days. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are operating our defences and structures. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
