River Swift
River levels have risen at the Churchover river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall throughout today, 14/11/2019. Consequently flooding of properties is possible overnight and into tomorrow morning. Flooding may affect properties around Leicester Road in Rugby. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next couple of hours. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 15/11/19, or as the situation changes.

River Swift
River levels are continuing to rise on the River Swift as a result of the heavy rainfall today. Flooding to roads and properties from surface water is likely as well as significant patches of standing water. Flooding from the River Swift is likely in areas surrounding both the Old Leicester Road and Leicester Road within Rugby. Please remain vigilant and monitor your own local weather conditions. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and liaising with our professional partners. We will issue Updates, Flood Alerts and further Flood Warnings if necessary.
