River levels on the River Dene have been rising in response to some heavy rain which has fallen overnight. River levels are expected to continue rising through this morning and further heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast for your area for Friday afternoon. There is uncertainty over the amount of rainfall expected and location of any of these thunderstorms. Flooding of low lying land would be expected. Surface water flooding may also affect these areas. This has resulted in river levels rising in this area today, Saturday 31st March. There may be flooding to low lying land and roads in the area. As a result of Sundays rain and snow, river levels have risen overnight on the River Dene with flooding to low lying land and roads now expected. Despite the forecast for mostly dry weather during Monday, river levels are expected to remain high throughout the day. No flooding of property is currently expected.
