This has resulted in river levels rising in the area, and there may be flooding to low lying land and roads over the next few hours. River levels have risen sharply on the River Tame as a result the heavy rainfall today. Flooding to roads and properties from surface water is likely as well as significant patches of standing water. As river levels continue to rise there may be flooding to low lying land and roads in the area. The rain is expected to continue to fall in the area until 9pm this evening (27 May 2018) so please remain vigilant.
