Tide heights will decrease by 10 cm each high water for the next two days. Strong South Westerly Force 5 to 6 winds will continue throughout Tuesday (02/02/2021), before easing on Wednesday (03/02/2021). Wave heights are still large and will increase on Tuesday evening, before decreasing on Thursday (04/02/2021). Shingle will still be moved and wave spray will affect sea front areas, particularly over the high tide periods (which are 14:30 on 02/02/2021, 03:00 and 15:15 on 03/02/2021). Small amounts of water may still potentially affect nearby fields, roads and beach top properties. However, the waves are not expected to run up the beach quite as much as they did on Monday. Please take care if visiting the sea front between Tuesday and Thursday. Large waves are very powerful and can contain hidden dangers such as flying debris.
