River Wharfe
River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall on Saturday 16.03.19. The level at Ilkley is now falling steadily and will continue to fall throughout the night. We expect to be able to remove this flood warning on the morning of Sunday 17.3.19. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this message as the situation changes. River Wharfe
River levels are forecast to rise as a result of heavy rainfall. Areas most at risk are properties on Denton Road and Middleton Avenue. The level is currently 2.2m at Ilkley. Further rainfall is forecast throughout today and levels are expected to reach around 3.1m around 17:45 today (16.03.19) although this could be slightly higher. We are currently expecting levels at Ilkley to drop back below 2.9m between 22:00 and midnight tonight. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the situation. This message will be updated this afternoon, 16.03.19, or as the situation changes.
