Areas still at risk include Allerton Ings including the A656 Barnsdale Road between Allerton Bywater and Castleford. Further unsettled weather is expected over the coming days and we will be closely monitoring the forecasts and river levels. Flooding is still possible to low lying land so avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
