A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for North Ford Causeway.
The prevailing weather forecast, along with very high tides and waves means that flooding from the sea is expected. Gale force westerly winds mean that a combination of wave overtopping, spray and debris may result in the closure of the North Ford Causeway. To find out if the road and causeway are closed please follow the Western Isles Police twitter feed https://twitter.com/WIslesPolice. The highest risk is either side of the high tide on Sunday 20th February, which at Balivanich is at 08:15 GMT.
