The prevailing weather forecast, along with very high tides and waves means that flooding from the sea is expected during Storm Kathleen. Gale Force winds also mean that a combination of wave overtopping, spray and debris may result in the closure of The Braighe.

The highest risk is either side of the high tides, which at Stornoway are on Sunday 7th April at 19:00 BST and Monday 8th April at 07:15 and 19:45 BST.
