A slight respite on Thursday and Friday will be followed by more unsettled weather over the weekend and next week. River levels will remain high over the weekend. Groundwater levels have risen considerably across Cranborne Chase in the last 72 hours, which when combined with heavy overnight rainfall means that current levels will be maintained until the middle of the week. Property flooding from the river is not expected, however watermeadows and side roads may be affected..
