Consequently, flooding of roads, farmland and properties is likely today 29/01/2021. We believe there is a likelihood flooding for Heather Shaw Road and West Ashton Road on the Paxcroft Brook and riverside properties at Southwick, Lambrok Close, Berkeley Road, Acacia Crescent and Albion Drive on the Lambrok Stream. Flood water could be deep and fast flowing. We expect river levels to continue to rise today so we are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground and can owners with property flood resilience equipment install it now and check for local road closures. River levels have risen at the Trowbridge Paxcroft river gauge as a result of heavy persistent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible this evening and tomorrow 15/11/20. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Heather Shaw Road and West Ashton Road on the Paxcroft Brook and riverside properties at Southwick, Lambrok Close, Berkeley Road, Acacia Crescent and Albion Drive on the Lambrok Stream. River levels have reacted quickly to this aftermoon to the heavy rainfall. Flood water could be deep and fast flowing, and therefore pose a risk to life. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days and react to further rainfall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens.
