River levels have risen but are now falling at the Stanford Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Stanford Bridge including the Stanford Bridge Caravan Park. River levels could remain high for the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences, and liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 5pm on Friday 18/10/24, or if the situation changes.
