River levels have risen at the Besford Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible today. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the Brooks from Webheath to Defford. Other locations that may be affected include Crowle, Wickenham, Peopleton, Pinvin and Pershore. Local fords may also be flooded. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to continue rising today, 23/11/19. We are closely monitoring the situation.
