An updated FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Upper Solway Firth. Continued high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land and roads along the coastline in the Upper Solway area. Potential flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide on Saturday 9th February at approximately 02:30hrs. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188. An updated FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Upper Solway Firth. A combination of spring tides and storm surge will affect the coastline overnight on Tuesday 2nd January, through to the early hours of Wednesday 3rd January, and again from around mid morning to mid afternoon on Wednesday. Flooding is possible in the communities of Gretna, Annan, Powfoot and Brow Well, particularly around the time of the high tides at midnight and midday.
