High river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight and into tomorrow morning due to Storm Darragh. Flooding is expected from 02:30 AM and current forecasts indicate that the river level will peak around 05:00 AM on Sunday 08/12/2024. Areas most at risk include properties at Brinkburn Priory, Weldon Bridge and Weldon Mill. Although the rain will ease overnight, river levels will remain high throughout Sunday morning. We are closely monitoring the situation. Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so.
