Flood Warning issued on 16 Feb 2020 11:43
River Tweed
River levels on the River Tweed have now peaked, but remain high as a result of heavy rainfall overnight associated with Storm Dennis and snow melt. River levels are beginning to fall, however they are still above the property flooding threshold at Norham, therefore this Flood Warning remains in force. Areas most at risk are properties and low lying land around the Boat House and the
Boat House Cottage. No further significant rainfall is forecast. Please continue to avoid low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. We are closely monitoring the situation. This message will be updated this afternoon (16/02/2020) or earlier if the situation changes.
