River Tyne
River levels have risen on the River South Tyne as a result of heavy rainfall and snow melt. Consequently, flooding is possible from 20:15, 15/02/2020, and into Sunday.
The area most at risk is the Riverside Workshop at John Martin Street.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the weekend. We expect river levels to remain high over this period.
We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are checking defences.

River Tyne
River levels have risen at the Haydon Bridge river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding to the Riverside Workshop at John Martin Street is expected between 08:00 and 15:00 today, 09/02/20.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast throughout the morning. We expect river levels to remain high until 15:00 on Sunday, 09/02/20.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.

River levels have risen at the Haydon Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall, with further rain expected throughout the day.
Consequently, flooding is expected between 14:00 and 17:30 today, 16/03/2019. Areas most at risk includes The Riverside Workshop at John Martin Street.
We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are checking defences. Further rainfall is forecast throughout the rest of Saturday, 16/03/2019.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety, and avoid contact with the flood water.
