Areas most at risk are Redhill, and Kegworth Bridge. Further rainfall is forecast for Wednesday and Thursday this week. We expect river levels to remain high until Wednesday, 19/02/2020. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and patrolling watercourses in the area. Please have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents, move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water. River levels continue rising very slowly at the Kegworth river gauge as a result of recent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible this morning, Sunday 22/12/19. Areas most at risk are Redhill and Kegworth Bridge. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We currently forecast the river to peak this morning approximately between 1.15 - 1.25m (approximately 100 – 110 cumecs). We are closely monitoring the situation. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
